When your child will have 21 years

Hi guys
I apologize for my question that is probably stupid but more we are closed to the departure and more questions I have :)

One of my child is 18 years old.
If we get the green card and leave to US, what will happen when she will be 21 years old?
Will she have to apply again to stay permanent resident or does she have her green card for the life?

She would be an LPR for life. The actual Green Card (the plastic thing itself) needs to be renewed every 10 years - although she could go for citizenship after 5 years if she prefers.
