Looks like we are in the same boat! Honestly, noone knows when USCIS will start working on 2002 cases. People in this forum with RD 1999 and 2000 are still waiting...
Looks like USCIS started working faster, lately... so hopefully by this time next year there will be some improvment.

Patience will be good at this point of time.People from 2000 are still waiting and 2002 has nothing to complain except just waiting?
May be after 1year you may hear those words like RFI and BIO.
Just be patient!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

early next year

given the current speed, I'm confident INS will start proecssing 02 cases no later than early next year.

If they are not deep shit losers, USCIS should fulfill what has been promised and reduce backlog for all types of applications to 6 months by October 2006, and that means applications with ND 2002 should be proceeded soon. In fact some people with ND 2002 already received their BIOs.

The performance of uscis has nothing to do with whether it thinks asylee are " ... deep shit losers," All groups complained about INS’s performance. The agency was incompetent and needed an overhaul.

NO, USCIS promised to reduce backlog for ALL

Penguin,

this means that ALL application processing should be reduced to 6 months!!!!
This means that if one filed their app in 2003 or later, they should have it processed by the end of 2006!! This is according to the USCIS themselves.

Curious_member...Wish you were right. Wont happen. "Processing" an application and "approving" an application is totally different. And here we are getting stuck in the government politics and mumbo-jumbo of words.
