When will they process I-485

Guys, I have applied my 140 & 485 concurrently in oct 2004 and my PD is August 2002. I have applied under EB3 Category. My question is when will they process my 485 application. Will they process my 485 when the prioirty date is current i.e, August 2002 or The Texas process time changes to oct 2004?(currently it's showing Feb 2003).

If they go by the current rules then your 485 will not be approved before your PD is current. However, anything is possible with TSC so hang in there.

Thanks Saras, That means should I wait till the current processing date which is 02/2003 changes to 10/2004 (Which is my ND for 485)
 
Hey Guys,
I'm too a little confused. Please explain to me in simple english. I am an EB2 with my LC priority date being 4/03. My 485 RD is 9/04. Currently they are processing cases from feb 03.
Are they going to process my case based on 4/03 or 9/04. Do let me know.

It is the receipt date of your I485 that the BCIS website refers to. However this is by no means a defintive and accurate date.

My case with a receipt date of 12/2003 was approved in 02/2005 while many 2002 case are still pending.

Currently I think most people are being approved between 2 and 3 months after they give fingerprints.

how many FP's did you have to give. People talk about FP and then Biometrics. Any ideas or comments.

Father Mike, I am little confused over this issue. My 140/485 PD is Oct 25 and applied concurrently . My labor PD is August 2002 in EB3 Category. Could you tell me when should I expect my 485 will be adjudicated technically.
 
You need to compare the date your I-485 adjustment of status application was received by the Texas Service Center with their current processing dates. The Priority date and date that Labor was filed do not come into play unless you arte in the EB3 category and from a country where the visa builletin date is not curtrent.
