When & Why Online Status Disappears

My online Status has disappeared and now it says :The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

What could be the possible reason? Why? It was just there before but not anymore.

I am waiting interview... FP done in July.
 
good news, it means you will get interview letter in the next week or so.

I believe by this time your file had been forwarded to your local District Office and you should be receiving Interview Letter very soon.

Can u tell me your FP date in july, my FP was done on july 26th, just wanna get an idean that when I should be expecting my Interview letter.

Thanks g and abs, You both are so correct. I got my interview letter yesterday. :D :) I thought online status will tell about interview notice and all but it just disappeared and made me worried BUT now I am again glad and happy that I am just doing fine with this process so far. Thanks so much for your good wishes and help.

FP: 7/21/04
Interview notice: 8/15/05
Interview date: 10/14/05

1. If you had registered yourself on the USCIS website, do you get an email as soon as there is a change in status, such as status disappearing altogether?

2. Does this means as long as ones status remains the same that one would not receive his/her interview letter?

Answers would be much appreciated..

I can answer 1, you don't get an email because last updated column online did not change for me when I got my FP notice. I was able to check my status as soon as I got receipt notice.

I can answer #2:

The update date behaves erratically. Even though I got my interview letter, my last update date never changed. My DO is Baltimore, PD 5/13/05 and ID 9/27/05.

When did you get your fingerprint done? I am trying to get my idea how long after fingerprint someone will get an interview?
Do you think if they correlated FP and ID?
