Hi, here is my situation. My I-140 is approved. I-485 will be 180d-old around early Jan. 2008. I would like to go home sometime at the end of the year. But my company has lay off quite few people recently. Although I have no reason to suspect this will happen to me, I would rather stay on the safe side. So my question is should I wait until the 180d mark then travel or it doesn't matter. Also if I travel before the 180d mark, can the company lay me off while I am taking a vacation. If they can, how can I come back? I do have both my EAD and AP approved, but need to get a visa stamp back home. I appreciate any inputs.
