When to switch employer ?

What is the right time to switch employer ?

Can I switch the employer as soon as I complete 180 days of pending 485? or do i need to wait for a month or so ..
Reason for this question is - heard from my middle-agent that "switching as ssooon as you complete 180 days, gives a picture that it was all planned, and might get some questions from INS"
Is this true ??

(I140 approved, EAD, AP and 180 days completed.)
 
As long as you have I-140 approved and 18o days since applied for I-485 you can change jobs under AC21. Jobs must be the same or similar.
 
What does one exactly mean by same or similar

If the job is in the same industry will that work or do the duties have to be exactly the same. For eg if your title is Software Engineer at your current job then does you title have to be software engineer?. Pls throw some light.
 
Job description has to be similar to invoke AC21. I'm not sure but
I think title is not important, since each company has different
position name for the same job description such as
senior design engineer, senior technical staff or principal engineer etc.
