When to send the letter ?

Hi Gurus,

I am joining a new company using AC21. My current lawyer says that it is not necessary to send the offer letter and other information to INS for using AC21. I will be moving to a new state. So he said only send the address change to INS.

He said that if I receive an RFE regarding employment, only then send the AC21 letter etc at that time.

What do you say? Should I send the information now or wait?

Either way but most seem to wait until they get an RFE if they ever do.
Just keep copies of everything so if it comes at when you go for naturalization you will be prepared.

--------------------------- if I-485 gets approved before you invoke AC21 then it will be approved for employer who filed I-140 or sent job offer letter with I-485. what is the harm if you send now? if you update USCIS now then your AC21 request letter will be attached to your I-485 pending file and when officer is going to approve he has the update, if dont update, he has to send RFE or NOID, then mail it, then your lawyer gets RFE or NOID then he takes time to reply, then officer again has to pull your file. do what you think better

Ac21

I check two to three lawyers. They are also not suggesting informing INS for AC21. They told just wait till you get RFE then do Ac21 and then reply RFE.

I have seen couple of my friends who applied for citizen process. They do not even ask how did you get GC.

Some lawyer scared people to get business.
