When to go for PR status stamp renewal on Passport?

My I485 was approved on 11th Match 2002 and I got my passport stamped on 22nd March 2002.

Now, since the card has not arrived yet, I am planning to go for second stamping (at Detroit).

I want to know if it is possible to get the stamping before 22nd March. (I plan to go on 21st March which is just one day before the anniversary).

Anyone had similar experience ?

Thanks JoeF for the information. It will be of great help as I will then go on 21st as planned.

Actually, NSC sent a notice in December 1st week telling that the photograph is not correct (ear not fully shown etc) and asked to send a new photograph which was sent in December 2nd week. I called the IIO and she said they have recieved the new photograph and it may take anywhere between 1 month to six month for the card (??). So, you see the process is on but moving slowly and therefore I think filing I-90 is not necessary. Anyway, once we go to the local office for stamping we will see what they say.
