when to apply for GC family based

Hi All,

Little info first I am on H1, married and my father will soon become US citizen(was filed by his brother), so my question is when is the right time for my father to apply for my GC? And how long does it take in the present circumstances to get GC through this approach? Please do let me know eagerly waiting for the replies.

Next minute after your father gets his US citizenship.

It may take minimum 10 years (may be more) to get your GC after applying your I 130.
Now PD worldwide is 1995.
