when is EAD Receipt Date

I filed for EAD extension(the 2nd time) last week. The papers were received at INS, Laguna niguel, CA on 5/3/03. The check encashed by INS on 5/6/03. The questions are
1. When can I expect to get the receipt notice?
2. What is the date used for Receipt Date / Notice Date? Is it the day the check encashed or the day it was received on the PO box which was on 5/3/03?. Or the Receipt date would be much later to the check encashed date?

Generally the receipt date will be close to the mail receipt date. Notice date will be close to the check cashing date. If you can see the cancelled check online, you can get the receipt number at the back of the check and you can find out what the dates are...
