When does it mean Immigrant visa petition is applied?

I am planning to go to india in April. I need visa this time. I am in 8 th year extension. I have a pending labor with company A(which i work for). Company B appled for labor in PERM and it has been approved. They applied for I-140 also.

Does that mean i have to answer "Have you ever applied for immigrant visa?" question in DS-156 form as yes?. I will be using company As H1?

Anybody in the same boat?. Please let me know.

If employer has ever filed I140, you need to answer Yes to this question.
It does not matter which company you are working and which company applied I140.
