when does case get transferred

My case was filed in Dallas, TX and I relocated to Seattle, WA, my 140 has been approved.

When does the case get transferred to the local office - in my case Seattle from Dallas? How long does that usually take? Is there a timeframe? Dallas is processing cases filed Sep'05 now..I assume that's adminstrative - which would mean, transfers would now be initiated for Sep'05 cases?

I did file for address changes and received my EAD/AP in my new address.

You don't need a transfer...

If your case wasn't transfered to Seattle , your adress changed - that's goood - proof that you've got your renewal doc. at the new adress , is not necessary that your case will be transfered there and will continue to be processed in TX !!!
Pray not to be transfered , because that will delay more your case !!!
If stays like this , that means your case is still in process there ( in TX) and you have to wait until you hear from them !!! Just be patient !!! Can be a delay , like everybody else , from the backlog on visa number availability or your PD is not current yet !!!
Just be patient and pray for good news soon for all of us !!! There are a lot of things hapening , these days coming , on immigration laws !!!
