When do they check the financial documents?

They never asked me to submit any financial document like W-2 or tax return, the only thing my lawyer asked for was the company financial statements, how about the minimum wage requirement is it only based on good faith ? do they check these matters during the approval of I140 or it continues to I485?
I have a wedding to attend in Dec 24th and not sure if it’s safe to use my AP or not, I filed for EB2 and my 140 approved in 9/14, my I485 was filed on 7/14 concurrently and my PD is current, from what I see here , there is good chance that I get my card some times in Nov/Dec, I am just afraid of sudden ref. requests which delay the process.

First thing first, where is your application Nebraska or Texas? What is your filing date?

As per the financial docs, W2s are not required in general. Do you have any dependants? If so, then you may need to show W2s for proving support for them.

my file is in Texas, I1485 notice date is July 14,06 and I140 was approved on Sep,14,06. I am single with no other dependent. the problem is that I from Iran and with all the problems between these two goverments I am not sure what to do, i like to go back for a month since my I-94 expires on 2/27/07 .
