Can someone advice when do 90 days start for interim EAD- My district office tells me from the date of biometrics. My understanding is from the notice date. District office is not willing to issue a interim EAD event though 90 days have passed after notice date but not after biometrics. Kindly help. Application sent to Missouri center and it is for renewal of EAD

Usually, with paper filed EAD it would be 90 days from the notice date since all your materials reached the Center at the same time. I would say 90 days from notice date for efiled EAD but I guess the District Office is taking the biometrics date because that was the date your file was completely received by the Center. Maybe, that's something everyone has to keep in mind in the future if you efile your EAD.
It would only be helpful if you could find someone who efiled and an interim EAD was issued to them taking the 90 day date from the notice date.
Mine was paper based and we never received a biometrics appt. When we went to the local office they have a procedure where if we do not receive biometrics appt 60 days after the notice date we can get biomnetrics done. Now they say that 90 days start from biometrics date even with renewal EAD and paper based EAD. Fortunately I received an email that the EAD was approved and a card will be mailed. I hope I get it in next few days before the current expires.

I am not with Missouri center so wouldn't know how long it will take for you to receive the card. But usually you should get your card in a couple of days, at the most a week.
