When can I send fax inquiry?--please help

Hi,

My I485 ND was 09/25/01. Since the JIT has moved to 10/01/01 as of 10/11/02, when can I send fax inquiry?
1). 10/25/02, 30 days from ND (09/25/01)
2). 11/11/02, 30 days from JIT changed (10/11/02)
3). 11/08/02(assume that JIT will move to 11/01/01 on this day), ND (09/25/01) is 30 days before JIT (11/01/01)

How to interprate this 30-day rule?

30 days after date published in last JIT

30 days from the JIT publish date....so 11/11/2002..this is what I was told by my lawyer. She said if we send a fax enquiry now, in all likelihood INS will reply Case-Pending so its better to wait till 11/11/02...BTW, my ND is 09/24/01....
 
I think you can send fax as soon as the JIT report comes out with I485 date as 11/01/2001.

From the data I gathrerd, I think INS has to do lot of September cleanups.
