I have my project at client place till january 2004. My I485 is pending for more than 15 montths:

My I485-RD: 01/15/02
ND:01/17/02

WAC-02-089-XXXXX
FP Done: 04/25/02

Any body could give approxmately whether i am going to get approval by jan 2004.

Its anybody's guess, pal. Who can tell us when we'll get approved except for the IIO. And I hear even they are not talking.

You must get approval before that time, I guess, because there are so many cases to be approved after yours.

Meanwhile, do all you can to consider eventualities and plan accordingly.

The curve ball in your case, I think is the potential for FP expiration. However, we have just seen a Jan 02 approval.

Number of pending cases within 02-001...02-089 is 6720 (by kashmir). If they only keep average approval rate of 20-25 per day, as seen in April and May, it will take more than 52 weeks to go through it all. In this case, you will not be approved by Jan 2004.
My guess is that now almost half of the CSC resources goes to cleanup of 01-xxx backlog. If these resources are freed to work on 02-xxx cases, and they will be in 3-4 months, number of approvals per day may at least double. And you're fine. Anyway, they started picking up Jan cases, so, it can happen even sooner.
