When can I expect FP notice, RD 12/15/2000, ND 12/28/2000, EB2, VSC ?

Also I am unable to talk to IIO at the VSC phone # - it is always busy.
What is the best time to call INS? Most of the people who have RD in 2000
have received their FP notices. Any help appreciated.

You should have already been intimated about your fingerprinting call. Most folks who have the RD/ND around the same time as you, have been issued their notices. There may be a few cases, still pending at the VSC. You can do the following:

1. Since the FP notice is mailed to the lawyers, check with them first, to see if they have received it. They may have overlooked sending it over to you.

2. Call the VSC between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. I have found this to be the best time to call them. You are not going to get through to an IIO on the first call, but since this is an urgent enough matter, keep trying.

I think the folks at VSC have been pretty random in issuing FP notices....my wife and I got ours done on 10/00. My wife was rescheduled for a second fingerprinting (due to poor quality) and got it done on 04/01.

India/EB2 PD 01/99 RD 05/00 ND 06/00 FP 10/00.

My ND DEC 6 th 2000, EB2 india, no FP yet. I think there are few people like me waiting for FP.

EB2 India RD:11/03/99 ND:11/08/99 got FP noticed via attorney. INS issued it on 02/14/01 and I received it 1st week of march. The date was set for 03/08/01

Talked to my Lawyer just now. My wife whose ND is Jan 26 2001 got FP, but mine with ND of Dec 6 th didn\'t, She called the IIO and and IIO said they will take care of that immediately. My wifes FP is scheduled for May 3rd,

You are your lawyer should call INS if you dinn\'t get FP.

Thank you for all the info. The sad part is my attorney believes in
sitting back and doing nothing(LAZY GUY) much. And I cannot ever get to an IIO in VSC. I will keep trying to contact the IIO.
Will writing to VSC help ?
