when can I (DEC RD) expect approval

I have a RD of Dec 20th .Can anyone tell me with the current pace at which VSC is approving cases, when can I expect my approval.

The earlier the better

August is about 2/3 done but has taken a lot of time. Sept+Oct+Nov is twice the August size. It could take about 3 months to reach Dec. I too have Dec. We need to be patient (which we are supposed to develop when we are waiting for this to happen)

The applications for sep,oct,nov,dec is less than double the applications for august.Also why do u say august is 2/3 rd done ,there cases from may ,june which are still pending.We need to look if INS has started Sep/oct and they have.So hopefully Dec is NOT that FAR AWAY.

Sory to be a bore

INS usually does not work during Holiday season (late Nov to early Feb). I have gone through this during I140 stage. I do not want to remind your guys. But you have to be prepared.

I didn't know of this. So does it mean that there is very less or no activity during that period?

I got my I-485notice/EAD/AP /FP very fast during the same period (dec-jan) last year. I don't think INS will stop workin' during that time.

September or October. INS is parallely processing Sep/Oct cases this month, should be finsh by middle of next month. then parallel process Nov/Dec.

I think they are processing August/Sept cases...The one or two October cases we see are outliers and shouldn't be brought into our mainstream statistics. That said, anywhere from late November to mid January is a good estimate for Dec filers to see some approvals. I can't wait!
