Yes may be.
If fact I was looking for some info as when the counting for five years time starts?
Does it start from date of GC (Jul'06) or from the date of regular stay in US(Jul'05)?
A friend of mine is of the opinion that it should be five yrs from Jul'05,when he moved here. And he should have spent at least 3 yrs here after GC (jul'06) after deducting his visits time out of US. Can some body confirm?
There is a 3-year rule for those who are married to a US citizen, and the 5-year rule is for almost everybody else. Don't mix them up. And the years start counting from the first day when you became a permanent resident, not when you moved to the US.A friend of mine is of the opinion that it should be five yrs from Jul'05,when he moved here.
