When can I add my spouse if opting for Consular Processing...

I am planning on going for consular processing in India (as it is much faster than I 485-AOS). I am still single and would get married early next year. My question is, is it required to be married before I apply for I 140 when I am opting for Consular processing, or is it ok to be married before I go for an interview in India.

Even after I get married my spouse would be in India before I attend the interview, will that be fine or does she has to be in US or atleast visit US once before going for the interview in India.

What are the conditions for opting Consular processing when it comes to the personal status (especially marriage)

you can go to cp to india.

there, you can marry before the interview, then add her name to your application during/before the interview.

you can also marry after the interview, then take your spouse to the embassy, but BEFORE you enter US.

If you get GC single and enter US, then you have a problem.
