Whats Next After Approval...??

Hi gurus,

Finally my I-485 was approved on 1/27/06.
Got the approval letter after 3-4 days.

The approval letter says I will either recieve the card in mail or I will be called in for biometric info collection. "No action needed now".

Have they stopped stamping temp GC on the passport? and how long are they taking to mail the card after approval?

My app was processed at VSC.

just sit back, relax and have a couple of beers...

mostly you will get the card in the mail without requesting a stamp

I got e-mails from INS that my 485 got approved and that they are going to mail my card when it is read. Then 1 week later i got GC in the mail. If you don't see anything in the mail or hear from them in 2 weeks, call INS!!! Make sure your FP is current.

Do you know how long FP is valid? I took it in Nov. 2005, and waiting for a visa number.
