Whats my situation? Did not apply AC21

hi everybody: here is my case,

140 approved, 485 applied 1 year ago at VSC.

i moved to a new job, but decide not to apply for AC21 (since a attorney whom I consulted said its not required: only needed when GC is approved to show it to the INS officer). I moved to a different city, and so sent in a change of address.

I am not planning to hire a Attorney by applying the G28, as I understand that if there is a RFE from INS I will be notified first (not my previous company attorney), and only then I will hire a Attorney to represent me?

are there any risks in this? Please help. Based on your responses I will hire/not hire a lawyer. so please respond.

thank you

------------wrong info that one can invoke AC21 after I-485 approval. you need to invoke AC21 BEFORE I-485 gets approved
I moved to a different city, and so sent in a change of address.
---------- you need to file form AR11 but it does not change your new address on your pending I-485, you need to write to service center with I-485 pending reciept#, your DOB, A# and request the change of address, provide past address and New address+copy of I-485 filing reciept, send the letter with certified mail return reciept and out side the envelope write in big bold letters ATTN: Change of address on pending I-485. also update the NCSC on 1-800
I am not planning to hire a Attorney by applying the G28, as I understand that if there is a RFE from INS I will be notified first (not my previous company attorney),
----------------- RFE will go to Attorney who filed I-485 and USCIS has G28 with them.
and only then I will hire a Attorney to represent me?

are there any risks in this?
-------------:
1 Revoke the G28 filed by past Attorney XYZ and request the USCIS to send any Communication directly to you on your address…………….
OR
2 hire your lawyer fill up G28 and let him update USCIS that he represents you for your I-485

Please help. Based on your responses I will hire/not hire a lawyer. so please respond.

thank you
