still waiting

AM in the same boat as you are. RFE response was received by BCIS on August 7, 2nd FP done on Sep. 18. Senator's office came back with the same standard answer - they are processing Sep. 30 cases.

AD - ?????????????????????????

(Meanwhile during this process - 3 EAD's and 2 AP's approved, 3rd AP applied for)

Was wondering if any of you are in the Seattle area?

It's very frustrating...

Good question - Why are so many Dec 2001 and earlier cases pending for no obvious reason and cases from Mar, Apr and May 2002 are getting approved?

Contacting the Senator's office seems to be as ineffective as contacting BCIS.

RD: Dec 2001

RFE: Apr 2003

Thanks nsc121901,

1st RFE: Sep 02, for official BC from my Place of Birth
2nd RFE: Nov 20, Affidavit of Birth from nearest relatives since BC was written long after the date of birth.

NSC received 2 RFE in Feb 03, still no response.

for intazargc

I think you can contact your senator or local congressman, since Nebraska is processing cases on Sep. 30 2001, and your RD date is passed.

all the best !

RD 12/14/01 (contacted senator, and got standard answer my time is not yet arrived since INS is processing Sep. 30 2001 cases)

The USCIS website (FAQ of USCIS Processing Times Page) clearly states that if we replied to RFE then we should expect a decision within 60 days and we can ask for case status referral. Then why the hell NCS does not even consider sending a request for case status referral ? I know we would mostly get the same response saying we still are processing blah blah... from service center but what else can we do? Any thoughts ?

Thanks

How about this,

my RD is 08/2001 & PD is 09/13/2001, I waited till NSC posted their processing date as 09/30/01 and then put in a status enquiry. I received a reply in 3 days stating that they are still processing 09/06/01 cases.

Morning guys!

Just want to let you know that I put a letter to a Colorado senator in the mail this morning. The reason I had to go through the snail mail is because they require a signed release of info form. I guess with all the privacy laws and regulations that's what's reguired nowdays. On their website, it's said to expect an answer within 4 weeks. I hope I'll hear from them sooner. If it's a brush-off reply, I'll try the senator #2 and a rep.

I'm not holding my breath for their help, but I did do a search on this website and found a few postings of people with 2002 RDs, who got actual help from the congressmen to expedite their case. So, I figured, I'm not losing anything if I get a No.
I'll let you know how it goes.
;)

Thank you russian for keeping updated. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted on the developments

Thanks

Nothing new. Applying for a 3rd AP, 'cause my current one expires in July. Pretty sad that I have to do that at this point!
