Hello all,

I see a lot of approvals for August/Sept even some Nov 2001 cases and yet have no idea where my file is. My RD was July 2001 and ND was August 2001. My RFE response was received by INS Feb 4th.

I am in the Chicago land area and seriously considering contacting the senator's office to get some info. Is it worth doing that? Anyone out there having experience with this sort of request, specifically with in the Chicagoland area? Which senator should I contact? Any information/ input/ advice would be great!

Dont get me wrong I am happy for the people who are getting approved but at the same time I am getting very frustated that my case in just stuck somewhere in la-la-land!!!!!!

thanks

I think they are still finishing July RD cases. It is an unfortunate delay. But I guess you should get approved in a month.

RFE was received by INS on 11/01/02 and assigned to officer on Jan 13, no news as yet. It is good people are getting approved and I am glad for them but at the same time it is bit unfair to see the cases later than our RD/ND getting processed first.

vijmas & rajju - I hear ye guys...but NSC does not give a hoot! Hopefully with their 4.1% pay raise will be some incentives for them to work a bit harder! :D

BPBJHL042002....

I am totally agreed with you. They should work hard and finish of June, july cases first.

For grinfo:
As far as contacting congressman is concerned... I went to Luis Guiterraz's office in Chicago and they told me that by their info INS is still processing March 2001 cases so they would not do anything just yet (my receipt date is Aug. 2001 - marriage to USCS).
