Whats going on with Houston?

I submitted the OCI application on Jun 30th. The status website still does not show it as received. How long does it take for them to change the status? Anyone in near by timeframe whose status has been updated?

Is it of any use if I go there in person?
 
Yea OCI application is still in Pending status for me from May 17. But atleast in my case it is showing as pending for almost 3 months consistently !!!
 
I am not even getting an acknowledgment

It still says "Application with this number not yet Acknowledged" after one and half month
