Looking at the approval trend, people are getting approved 2 weeks from doing their FP2s. Here I am, finished my FP2 on May 13th, RFE for emp letter and paystubs received by INS on March 3rd. LUD changed on June 9th. Nothing since then.

Tried calling the 800# twice, I know its a wasted. But just tried. Nothing happened. I have a very good perm job offer in my hand right now. I could change employers technically. But just wanted to get over with this GC thingy and join them. How long can I wait? I dont know if INS is waiting for me to spend another $350 by applying AP #3 so that way they will approve the 485 and swallow the AP money for doing nothing. Cheapstakes

Dude, your approval should right around the corner. Just take the perm job offer and fly with it. Don't worry, the approval will follow.

Well..you did your FP2 only in May. I did mine on Apr 13th. Still no news.
But I cannot complaint since my RD falls in Sept 02. yours is in Feb...yeah...you have the right to get upset.

bunchofquestion,
Your observation that people are getting approved 2 weeks after FP2 is wrong. It happened only to a very few cases. For majority of the people, nothing happened within a month of FP2. I guess that you will definitely be aproved before July end. So hang on there.

I agree with dsatish. I did 2nd FP Jan 04. So far they did not even update the web. My attorney did the inquiery a month ago. As usual, nothing happend. Even LUD did not change. Sigh...

This is what I read somewhere in the forums here: It is better to stick with the employer (the one with whom you are when you got the GC, not necessarily the original sponsor; remember AC21) for about 6 months to 1 year after getting GC. Or else, during Naturalization, it can be considered fraud. Correct me if I am wrong.

Having said that, Isn't it better for you to go ahead with the offer especially cuz your approval is around the corner?

Good luck.

My Fp 2 was 8-03, LUD was 5-6-04 and nothing since then.
Second Fp notice was changed on 5-5-04.

ND 12-01.

Any body with LUD in 5-04 and waiting please reply.
