My wife and I have been having serious problems. I have come to find out via her own words, that she married me only for the visa.

I am going to be filing for an annulment, and while it sounds stupid and petty considering the circumstances, I feel pissed that I wasted all that money, and we're now just getting recipet for our interview.

My question is this... If I get an annulment now, exactly what happens as far as our petition for the visa goes, and will she get in any trouble?

She wont be able to marry right away after the annulment and do this to someone else will she?

She will be denied her green card if you decide not to continue in the marriage and not to attend the interview. She will be deported. Even if marriage is annulled and she goes and finds someone else to marry for a green card, it will be very suspicious and more than likely her case will be denied because by the time that could happen, she will be out of status and to marry twice in such a short time and apply for green card is "very suspicious" and you can believe USCIS will get the hint.:rolleyes:

DO NOT BE VINDICTIVE. JUST GET THE MARRIAGE ANNULLED AND WALK AWAY. SHE IS PRETTY MUCH RUINED CAUSE HER EAD WILL NO LONGER BE VALID ONCE YOU DO NOT GO TO INTERVIEW AND IF SHE MARRIES SOMEONE ELSE AND FILES FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE IT IS GOING TO BE A VERY, VERY, DIFFICULT JOURNEY FOR HER AND IT IS LIKELY SHE WILL NOT BE SUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING HER GREEN CARD.

SHE WILL HAVE A VERY HARD TIME BECAUSE IF VISA IS EXPIRED SHE WILL BE ILLEGAL. I FEEL SORRY FOR HER AND ASK YOU NOT TO DO ANY MORE HARM BECAUSE WE USUALLY 'REAP WHAT WE SOW'. JUST GET YOUR LIFE BACK AND LET HER GO.

Sorry your going thru this..I would have to agree with neshawn and dont do anything you will regert..Wasnt to smart of her to say anything before the interview though :rolleyes: I just hope in the end you can find true happiness..Good luck
 
I've had a lot of problems with her.

I've found various love letters, this all just hit me recently. I feel so used. She is dating some other illegal, and I feel as if I'm their ticket to getting a greencard.

I cannot tell you how upset I am. I don't want to hurt her, but at the same time I refuse to reward her and this other guy with a thing.
