What will happ. 485 pending and travelling without Advan. Parole

Experts please advise.

Primary approved but dependent is pending. If dependent travels out of country without Advance Parole, I know 485 application will be abandon. My questions is what will be the processing time frame applying under "following to join" (not sure if this is right tech. word) considering PD 04/01/04 and EB3.

Dont consider taking that risk. Get AP and then travel. Otherwise the wait time is going to be in years...(not months).
