what triggers FP ?
does 140 approval ??
or the LUD changes on I-1485 ?

cant really understand the pattern i have seen guys getting FP notices even though RFE's issued or cases denied.

EB-2 category - I-140 & I-485 Concurrent Filing at CSC - what triggers FP

One of my friends in my company has filed I-40 and I-485 concurrently (EB-2 category) during second week of Nov 2004 at CSC, and he has received finger print notifie and he has completed his finger printing during last week of Dec 2004. What does it mean? Did CSC approve his I-140 and then mailed the FP notice? or I-140 and I-485 are active now ? Please clarify. Thanks.

nothing triggers FP notice, once u filed 485, FP notice stuff handled by agency in CA and they will send you within 10 days - 2 months.

So its nothing to do with 140 approval or RFE.
