My case is filed out of Nebraska - I reside in New Jersey, as company has main office in Chicago

Now I have to move to San Jose as company wants me to service a large acout there. No change in company, salary, job description.

Its been over 1 year since 140 has been approved and almost 18 months since 485 has been filed

Question- will the move and the subsequent address change notification triger a transfer to local office?

And, generally, do you forsee any risks if I move to san jose office of same company

Don't see any risks, except a local transfer, for ur type of move.

The local transfers are triggered totally based on the IIO's opinion of ur case - which we know is inconsistent. CIS anyways transfers about 10% cases to local office for quality assurance purpose (can't believe I used "quality" and "CIS" in the same sentence!). The rest of the local transfers happen if the IIO suspects something in your case and wants local office to confirm in an interview.

goodluck!
