What to put on the Ads?

I am working in one company( my first job in US) for more than 2 years, and now company is going to sponsor GC for me. I heard from somebody that I can't put the 2 year experience on the ads, the job description has to be the requirement when I came to company 2 years ago. I don't think this makes sense, but is this true? Has anyone heard about this? Thank you for helping me out.
 
You did not have the 2 years experience when the company hired you. How can the company now say that it never hires anyone for your position without that experience, it hired you when you did not have it.

But my resposibility, salary all changed in this 2 years. Why can't I use the current job requirments for the ads? since the ads is to find someone to fit in my current position.
