what to do to inquire for final approval of asylum? email contact?

Granted recommended asylum about 2 months ago and want to get in touch about final approval. Had asylum interview back in December of 2007.

Why should I contact for this? I sent a letter to the local asylum office asking for final approval and they haven't gotten back to me.

It's all due to backround criminal and name check right? How long it's gonna take.

Have email contact of chicago asylum office or email of asylum headquarter in Washigton DC where I can do the inquiry?

I recieved my recommended approval on April 26, 2006 and asylum approval on October 18, 2006. So you can have an idea about yours.

yeah you can call and ask but they won't give you detailed info over the phone.
