What to do next

I see some timelines here for others and I am concerned..

Applied Feb 11 06
FP Done Mar 25 06

I have not received anything yet..

I called USCIS and they are totally useless.. dont have any info other than the standard info on the case status online.. When will I receive notice for Interview?

Please post your timelines.. (Esp. for philly/ VSC) I see others applied in march and already having interview dates.. Should I be proactive and call or make infopass appointments and followup.? will the InfoPass do any good?

I just realized that name check is different than FP check.. Do they do both for N400 applications? How do I find out if both checks are complete?
Anyone know phone numbers for FBI to call to see if name check is complete and sent back to USCIS? Is FP checks done the same day like said in this link

Hi there!

The name check and your fingerprints are two different scenarios. In the case of your fingerprints, the FBI will report back to USCIS within 24 to 48 hrs following your fingerprint date. Neither the FBI nor USCIS will tell you anything regarding your prints; more specifically, if they found something.

As far as the name check is concerned. There is no way to find out what your status is. Most people find out that their name check has not been cleared at the end of their naturalization interview, others have their interviews cancelled shortly before the scheduled date. The latter can be caused by a variety of reasons (not enough staff members for that day, DO has not received your file, name check still pending etc. etc.).

I think you should just hang in there...this early in the process, I would not worry about it too much.

Notice the difference between the FP notice received and actual FP appointment.. I would have been in trouble, had I not checked mail that day..

is it safe to assume that FP check is cleared and sent back to USCIS?
