What to do if no update after 2nd FP ?

Like quite a few in this forum, my wife and I have done 2nd FP but have not seen any change in the online status.

FP notice set an appointment for 01/22 in San Jose. We both went on 01/09, and the FBI confirmed that they checked and returned both FPs to INS on that same day.

Has anyone done anything (fax, call, letter) in order to get the update done ?

There is no update on my RFE. It was sent by attorney in beginning of January. I called to NCS they suggested to write letter to CSC :mad:

I'm not sure what to do either. I tried calling the USCIS national service center, that was before i called the FBI number though but the person I spoke to had no clue what was going on. She could only tell me the exact same thing that shows up on the online status.

Join the club

Called the 800 service center number, same luck. The guy read the status message displayed on the BCIS website, and then emphatically explained that the status would eventually be updated.

He concluded on a "waiting is your best option, you know". Was not aware I had any other one.
