What to answer for the following question on DS-156 form

Hi Friends,

Please help me in taking a decision to answer the following question which is part of DS-156 Form...

The question is
Are Any of The following Persons in The US.,or Do They Have US Legal Permanent resident , US .citizenship????

Right now i am in USA and my Brother is also in USA...who has Green card.I will be going Chennai us consulate in middle of June for my Visa Revalidation...

so please share your experience on this question and advice on this...

Mention the true fact that your brother is a legal permanent resident. Don't hide it on form. Even I've my sibling US citizen and I'm on H1. I mentioned it and it didn't hurt. Rather its a kind of plus..

NEVER hide a material fact in any of the forms you submit.
Inform truthfully about your brother.

BTW, H visas allow for COMPLETE DUAL INTENT .... so the implied intention of immigrating is NOT a reason for denying H visa.
Even if asked whether you will also settle in the US, you can say YES if that's what you intend to do -- INA clearly covers this aspect.
