what time does the approval e-mail get sent.

I along with a majority on this board am waiting for my approval. I would like to check with guys who got approval via e-mail as to what is time of the e-mail. Thanks in advance.
 
I personally do not trust the online system too much. My case was approved more than a week ago and I did not get any e-mails and my online status is still about receipt of 2FP. Again, maybe I'm just an exception.

i agree. It took them a week to update the system to reflect approval of my H1 extension. The FP results were also updated after 3 days of they having received the same from FBI.

Just to make sure - you did sign up for e-mails, right? Because I did as well and I don't trust CIS to do anything right, not even such automated things. Only if they outsource them.

Absolutley. I signed up and set the flags to get the e-mails to Y. To me the system is not reliable.

I got the email the day they updated my status on the net, but my case was approved a day before.

AD --> June 1st 2004
TD --> June 2nd 2004 (Got email on the same day for both me and my wife)
 
My case was approved on 6/7/04 and we received the e-mail 6/8/04, same day the on-line status also changed. Same thing with the EAD that was approved in May.
 
Is the question about what time of the day USCIS send emails?
I did not get an approval mail yet, but other status change emails were sent exactly at 12 noon EDT. I have seen people got emails at 7:00 am (I am guessing PDT), which is 10am EDT. So, I think they send in batches, depending on your receipt no, or A#, or something else.
Also, the emails are sent one day after the actual status change, or approval. The web page is central for all service centers and they may move the data from all service centers overnight or early in the morning.
