What the meaning of 221g form (administrative processing)

I just did my interview Saturday morning and it was not successful because they gave me blue sheet 221g they not ask to bring any more document ,just they told me you should wait our call ....by the way they take all my documents except passports

I do not know what all that means ? and still less than two month only before physical year end .....................................any hope ??????????????????????????????????????????

were you applying single and what process did you have,,,,,i mean the interview......do you mean that they are also keeping you original documents..........and what country you had your interview....

221g means administrative denial. They might do some additional check up or request additional documents
