What the LC Notice looks like

I am trying to have my HR find the LC approval notice for me. They did all the paperwork for me but now I think it'd be good to keep a copy with myself just for my own security.

However, they said they cannot find it, even though my 140's already approvaled... they want to know what it looks like... does it have a form # associated with that? one page? ten pages? I never saw it before myself...

Relax, even if they don't find it you can request a copy from DOL. Besides, if your I140 has been approved, thank your luck and wait for some shiny new cards.

---- Employer or lawyer cannot ask for the copy of LC from DOL, only if BCIS asks for the copy DOL provides and it takes time.

If HR does not have copy of approved LC then ask the lawyer who filed your I-140 because original LC was attached with I-140 filing and lawyer will have copy of approved copy in file with him
