Who are these religious workers?

Ordained ministers and other full time workers/members of religious organizations such as nuns, monks, priests, mullahs, religious instructors, or specialists in the performance of religious rituals.

What are they doing here in this country?

They want to help people like you and me achieve our religious/spiritual goals. That is why BCIS put them under priority category and processing their GC's leaving everybody else behind.

Nope, Praying for themselves

Hi: I do not think that europe or asian country matters.

I know at least five people coming from diverse countries like Bulgaria, Russia, ofcourse China & India. Their filing dates range from October 2001 to May, 2002.
None uptil now have heard anything from BCIS. Not even re-FP or RFE.

All those are assumptions about sorting cases. Its but obvious that BCIS cases are picking cases by tossing coins.... the reason being all the files/cases are numbered chronologically and should follow simple math. Alas that's not the case...

So it does not matter whether u r from Europe or from India/China or from Timbuktoo.

The policy is to drive all the potential immigrants out of this country (by delaying the I-485-either by lay off or company closures) so that they can hire so called "learned" US citizens who are twidling their thumbs for the lack of jobs.

Its just that the BCIS does not want to do it... simple as that. Regarding religious workers tell me honestly in America more than 70% population is agnostic that leaves only 10% athiest and rest 20% somewhat relgious. so can anyone tell me how many religious workers are being sponsored. Just a lame excuse.

Anyways! its the frustration ....

Good luck to all of us for speedy I 485.

What is this Sunset for Religious workers? Are not hardworking taxpaying H1Bs like us also having the Sun set on us? Or are we to work 24X7 ? imagining Sunlight all the time?

Ridiculous! Sept 30 th beware of the a New priority! Won't be suprised if its cooks or sex workers this time:)

I guess not even 1 % of this religious workers are true

Why dont this religious worker (If really they are) remain in their birth country and try to flourish there.

I don't know what exactly religious workers are doing, and actually I don't believe any religion.
But, it is the fact that they are also victims of the BCIS' processing delay.
I wish as many religious workers and their dependents can get approved by the end of this month as possible.

Agree with kashmir anybody who gets approved reduces the clog.
Religious workers are human beings too. Its just that I dont agree in them having a priority .. whatever happened to equality?

Some (human beings) are more equal than others.
