How do I get iEAD from local office?
I\'ve applied for my EAD on 02/06/02 but heard nothing yet.
Does iEAD allow me to get a new job?

yes it does

iEAD is interim EAD. to get an IEAD, take a copy of your 765 receiot, 485 receipt and passwport and visit your local INS office.
You will be able to work with an IEAD. technically IEAD should be as good as a regular EAD.You can get your IEAD after 90 calendar day of your I765 receipt
