Has anyone done his/her FP in the Pomona office? Do they take walk-ins?

Probably INS would not bother looking at the results till they are suppose to be there. I mean if you have an appointemt from INS say 4-25, this information is in INS system, why would INS bother to look for your fingerprint results when they don\'t expect them to be with them before 4/25. I am not including FBI time, INS must be including this time in there system.
What I think there is no use in getting it done before time, the only good part it might play is that if you get your fingerprint rejected by FBI you have a chance to get it done again within that timeframe.

i have to disagree with. my FP was scheduled 3/3 and i did it on 2/27. what happened is that it was updated in their main system on 3/9. and based on what i know from others if i did it on 3/3, it is highly impossibly.

I think we can probably agree on the following: doing the FP earlier will not hurt a case and it may/may not speed up the process. I know it sounds silly but I guess no one can figure out what CSC has been doing.

How did you decipher that your FP\'s had indeed been updated
into their main system. Also, do you know if your case has been
assigned to an officer.

i talked to IIO on 3/13, she asked my WAC number only and told me my FP was received on 3/10. actually my FP was sent to INS on 2/27, the same day i did FPs. and also i was able to dial through around 3/6. at that time i was asked A# and was told my FP was there but not updated in the system. So i am pretty sure 3/10 actually was the day my fp was updated to main system. but it was not assigned that day.
