What qualification is required for H1B ?

Hi,

I need some info the qualification that is required for processing new H1B visa for who are already on H4 in US.

I am sure B.E grads are preferred most of the times, however I would like to know if the new H1B can processed for the people who have education background of B.Com, B.A with MBA in Finance/HR.

I would also like to know what other degrees are considerable ?

All the university degree (4 years) qualify for H1. However your job offer must qulaify for h1 provision.

Suppose you have BE Mechanical Engineering degree, but you can not get H1 for Heavy Equipment Mechanic position.

Thanks for the info Guru, I want to know what is the minimum qalification required to process H1 for Software professional.

I mean can H1 (work as software Professinoal ) be sponsored for H4 Visa who's qualification would be B.com, B.A with MBA in Finance/HR.

In addition if the dependent (On H4 Visa) is with B.com or B.A degree and undergo software training like QA testing, JAVA etc. can they be qualified for H1 Visa ?
