WHat next?

My wife had her N-400 Interview in June. Durign that time, the IO said he cannot make a decision due to some pending background info and checked the cannot make decision in the N-652 form. After several followups with the senator, we got this update.
On Aug 6th The A-fiile is placed in queue to be scheduled for oath ceremony. Can we now believe that the oath letter will come soon? Does anyone think there is a need to schedule a Infopass to get the oath done soon!

Similar thing happened to me. I was interviewed and told no decision can be made as my background check is still pending. Later called USCIS and was told that was in line for oath.Had interview in June 2007. Just got oath letter 2 days ago.

I would say it is a good sign and you should get your oath letter soon. That's just my guess based in the wording of the update they gave you.

Got oath letter...

After a year long process, my wife got her oath letter today.. . The oath is scheduled for Mon Sep 17th.
