What next? After parent's FP?

Just outta curiosity what happens next after parent's fingerprinting?
I know that one could get stuck in name check but if not is there an interview after which you're approved for a GC?

Yes there will be an interview.

Well it depends. Sometimes they may not do an interview. My grandmother got approved for GC with no interview so it all depends.

Although it occurs very rarely, but you are correct in stating that at times interviews are waived.
