I've seen so many people on this forum that were requested for additional evidence. What kinda evidence would they ask us? My hubby is a USC and I am in India. Do they always ask for more? Thanks.

Not if you file everything properly. Or they may ask if you have something suspect about your background and what not...

Basically just send all the additional evidence/documentation they ask for in the instructions on all of the forms. For example- they ask for passport style photos that have strict requirements, they ask for copies of evidence to show you live together - i.e. - lease agreement, joint bank account statement, utility bills... etc... etc...

Also, if you don't send things like your medical package (Form I-693) which his filled out by a Dr. then they may send an RFE.

Basically just THOROUGHLY follow all the instructions on the forms and you'll be fine. I triple checked them and got stuff I had forgot to include by accident that I missed during the double check!!!! (of course, that could just be my own absence of mind issue lol)

RFEs I see most often relate to the I-864, for some reason it appears many people don't send their W-2s and/or 1099s or there's a misunderstanding what needs to be filed if there's a joint sponsor.

Sometimes USCIS loses documents and sends an RFE. Rumor has it that they may also use it to re-set the EAD clock, i.e. the law says an EAD needs to be issued 90 days from when all initial evidence for I-485 was submitted, and the rumor is that they may send an RFE to buy themselves more processing time.

Yup. Sponsors and Joint Sponsor taxes, W2's, 1099's are most commonly requested.
I made the mistake of not sending ALL of my sponsors paperwork and received a RFE. It'll delay the case, but not by long. Hopefully I can get that damn DEA soon...REAL soon.
