What is yellow letter?

Sorry for this stupid question, but what is yellow letter? What is the difference between yellow letter and interview letter? What do I need to do after receiving the yellow letter?

I am very new to this citizenship process. Please bear with me. Thank you very much.

The Yellow Letter is a letter which notifies the application of which additional documents to bring to the interview. It does not state anything about when the interview will be scheduled. It is basically a form letter that every applicant receives and the contents of the letter are based entirely on the answers the application gave to the questions in the N-400. For example, if the applicant said she had been arrested in the past, then the Yellow Letter would state to bring documents about that incident.
