What is to expect at Medical Exam?

Hi Gurus,
    I am going for medical test. Could someone pl tell me what are the things to expect at the medical exam? Is the test time consuming? How long it would take and is it painful?? I heard that we have to take our complete clothes off for testing!! Pl give some idea.

Don\'t Worry.

The doctor to whom me and me wife went did the following. We had to go there twice :

First Visit : Blood Pressure, Weight, Height. Took sample of our blood and injected us with the TB test.

Second Visit : Got the Blood Reports,Check the TB test result. Gave us the vaccinations and gave the results in a sealed envelope and voila we were done.

And yes it was time consuming for us as EB3 dates had just become current and there were a lot of people who were ready to file 485. The actual time spent with the doctor was about 15 mins on visit one and 15 mins on visit 2. But the wait period combined for both days was well over 8 hrs.

I heard from a female friend that she was made undress and she felt embarassing for the tests! Is it required to be undressed completely for the tests?? I am scared!!

It depends on the doctor

Dear friend - It does not require you to totally undress - I know many people did not undress totally. If it helps you, you can find a female doctor.

If u let us know what area are u in then probably some of our fellow 485 filers/waiting to file might be able to tell u their doctor experiences.
