After very long time I got this update online:


On July 24, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

Anybody knows what is this? Is this a denial notice or there is chance I will get the GC? What are the possibilities?

can somebody tell me how simple/critical the RFE could be?

Or it is just normal !!

Nothing serios about it

Depending on what the rfe is about, you just ahve reply to it. It will not joeprdize your GC in most cases. It will just delay your approval.
 
Wait for the notice to reach you or your attorney. RFE means they are requesting you to provide some additional information or verify your current status. For example they might ask you to provide employement letter, pay stubs, W2 etc.

But why guess, just relax and wait. Nothing to worry about yet. Most of the people are getting RFE nowdays.

RD: Receipt Date of your application (in this case I-485)
ND: Notice Date for your application (in this case I-485)
