what do u think r the strategy of backlog reduction centers? i mean ok now they will begin processing dallas and phili cases at the regional level, but what after those cases r finished? do u think they will clean all the backlog that is in all the states levels that r under those regions, or they will go to the other regional levels and clean them then they will begin choosing the most backlogged states and clean them nationwide?

regards,

My understanding is they will start with Dallas and Phili, followed by Chicago and Atlanta (? where the PERM is implemented) if PERM will be in place, then nation-wide based on the filing dates.

so u mean that first they will clear the regional level of texas phil atlanta and chicago. then they wll begin choosing which state need help? if so, do u think they begin by the state that has the longest processing time or by states which has the largest volume backlogged?

P.D: u can have a small backlog but the processing time is very long because of inadequate laborhours used. so if u have a slow state, it doesn';t mean that they have a buig backlog.

RO files are going through data entry process first, then SO file will be entered as they are shipped. Priority date given to applicant will determine which cases are processed first. So, although different states may ship their files at different times according to ???? schedule, as files are received and put into the recording/processing system, they will be prioritized by received date. Obviously, varying backlogs may adversely affect when your case gets worked on, but by going from the received date, an attempt has been made.
