What is the procedure to port spouse's existing 485 ?

I transferred my PD (Jan 2005) from EB3 to EB2, which is now current.

Could you please advise on the procedure to request USCIS to adjudicate my existing 485 & that of my spouse's existing 485 based on my most recently approved 140 ?

How will the procedure differ if I choose to do this myself Vs going through a lawyer? Which is safe?

------did you or your later requested to INTERFILE your recently approved 140 with Pending I-485? if not do that and sent the Copy of latest I-140 approval notice+copy of I-485 filing reciept+on cover letter make a request to Interfile with your Pending I-485+ send new employer job offer letter who got your latest I-140 approved.
